Latest Zetas Leader Captured

One of the most wanted leaders in the drug war was captured Wednesday. Alejandro Omar Treviño Morales, also known as Z-42, was captured at 4 A.M. in one of the wealthiest suburbs in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia. And even though he was one of Mexico's most wanted drug cartel leaders, there was no attempt of running away, for there were no shots fired at all during the capture of the Zetas leader.
Morales took over the Zetas in July of 2013 when it's previous leader, which was his brother, was captured.
Los Zetas, started off when the Gulf Cartel, another drug cartel, hired some of Mexico's Army to body guard the Gulf Cartel's leader. When the Gulf Cartel's leader began being killed or captured, the body guards and other members of the Gulf Cartel saw it as a chance to make their own cartel, thus the formation of Los Zetas. Since then, Los Zetas have been known to be one of the most violent and technologically advanced drug cartel in Mexico and spreading into Latin America. Los Zetas, since the beginning, have always been one of the most wanted drug cartels, that keeps increasing in numbers as many people join the gang. And even though it has lost many leaders, the gang has still found ways to continue running, in most cases having another member take control of the cartel.
So now that it's most recent leader has been captured, will this weaken the notorious drug cartel, or just make it stronger and have someone else take power over the cartel?

Small Win for Mexico

One of Mexico's most wanted drug lords, Servando Gomez, was just captured on Friday, February 27 in Morelia, Michoacán. Servando Gomez, also know as "La Tuta", translated into "The Teacher", was the leader of the drug cartel Knights Templar. Servando is a former elementary school teacher. He was a main target for President Enrique Peña, for his cartel was one of the main drug cartels causing problems in Michoacán against the police.
This arrest was planned after gathering months worth of information about  Gomez's actions and locations. The drug lord was immediately sent to Mexico City after his capture, where he was transported to a maximum security prison.
Although it is seen as a small win for Mexico, will this cause more problems within the country itself? Will the capture of the notorious cartel's leader cause the other cartels to be more cautious with their hideouts?
